Emily

This is my cousin Emily. She's nine years old and has just been diagnosed with Thyroid cancer. She's a sweet little girl who also happens to be my six year old daughter's best cousin! Emily was diagnosed on February 16th 2006 with this horrible disease. Please say a prayer for her and her family. They are totally devastated, as we all are. Scott, Crystal, Emily, Frankie & Madison, we all love you and are praying for a complete recovery!

Me and my Honey!

Here's a picture of me and my honey. We took this picture last week on one of the warmest days ever in February. I think the temperature was 55 degrees. Our beautiful daughter insisted on taking this picture and I'm glad she did. It turned out very good, if I do say so myself! I love you honey! You too Summer!

The clean up!

Here's a picture of my adorable husband digging us out of the 8 inches of snow we got last night from our latest snow storm. I've never seen so much snow come in such a short time. The snow as very wet and heavy. I'm glad we didn't have to go anywhere in that crap!

About me

I've been asked by several family members to start my own blog. After thinking about the idea for a few months I've decided to try it, so here goes.

I'm a HAPPILY MARRIED woman in my thirties. I'm married to the most WONDERFUL MAN in the entire UNIVERSE! Not to mention he's pretty darn goodlookin' if I do say so myself! I've got two GREAT kids, Ryan, who is 19 years old and Summer who is 6 years old! Ryan is my stepson from my husbands first marriage. He's a great kid and a wonderful brother to Summer. Summer is our daughter together. Summer is and absolute princess and the apple of my eye. A beautiful little granddaughter Kaylie Nicole. She's 9 months old and an absolute doll! And a 1 year old female keeshond (dog) Phoebe Marie. She's cute too.
How am I doing so far? I hope not too bad. Let's see I live in Northern Illinois with my husband and daughter. I drive a School Bus for a living. It's a great job! Off in the summer and two weeks at Christmas! YES, THAT'S RIGHT I SAID CHRISTMAS NOT THE HOLIDAYS! CHRIST IS THE REASON FOR THE SEASON, NOT Walmart or Target! One week in the sping for spring break and countless days through out the rest of the school year. It's a GREAT job! That's about all I can think of to tell you right now. I'll be back soon with more updates....until then.......
